This is one of my earliest projects on here, when I began learning how to use open GL in C++. In this program it moves objects towards the player cube that uses collision detection to reduce player life. The program can also detect when an object has passed without colliding with the player and increases the score. A background is used with some objects moving round the play area to simulate moving forward. This project also uses a form of jump and fall to allow motion in the upward direction. The player can move forward, backwards, and side to side. This program has two end points: one is when you reach the end that displays your score. The other is when all your life is depleted, this displays a ‘game over’ screen.
