This is was a group project that I participated in during my time at university. During this project we put in use the scrum methodology of working. We implemented this by using jira boards to break down the work load and to assign all participants their part of the project. This helped to track what they did, so no one would repeat what someone else was doing or what was taking more work than we thought, so we could reassess it or split it into more manageable parts.
During this project some of the part I worked on were:
1. making a shade to see the player behind walls
2. Inventory and inventory UI(design was done by another member I only made the code and functionality)
3. Player UI during gameplay (E.G. Health bar, Manna bar, ability bar and cooldown timers)
4. Weapon code (the modal was an asset that was sourced or made by another member)
5. ability’s and effects in the project(e.g. weapon ability like reducing cooldowns, swinging swords, and shooting magic bolts, daggers or arrows. And potion effects, or poison including instant health, health regen, temporary Armor or damage increases, and damage over time)
6. Health and Manna system
7. the madness effects(Another member made the sound system and enemy system. The madness effects included visual glitches, phantom enemas and lighting changes)
8. The shop system (e.g. transaction and randomising items)
More code can be provided on request.
